Lance Croker

Founder

Lance has been the driving force behind Croker Construction (WA) Pty Ltd and prior to that L&T Croker Pty Ltd since the organisation began in 1978. He retired in 1994.

Sadly Lance passed away in January 2019.

Nathan Croker

General Manager (Director)

Nathan joined Croker Construction in 1992 as a labourer and has since worked in various roles across the organisation which has provided him with an excellent understanding of how the business operates. He has worked as an operator (Loader, Grader and Scraper) for four years and then moved into a construction supervisor’s role. Following three years in that role, Nathan accepted a role in the office focused on purchasing and quantity take-off before assuming the responsibility for tendering.

In his current role as General Manager and Tendering Manager, Nathan undertakes all General Manager duties as well as developing and submitting Tenders, including managing the overall purchasing processes within the organisation.

Brendan Hurrell

Construction Manager

Brendan commenced with Croker Construction in early 2011 as Construction Manager.
Brendan possesses over 15 years experience within the civil construction industry initially employed within the commercial and structural design field for 3 years and then as a civil subdivision designer for a further 2 years and 13 years in the construction industry.

Brendan has obtained extensive experience and success in the effective tendering & project management of civil construction projects including urban redevelopment (“brown field”), road reconstruction, site remediation and subdivision construction.

Brendan exercises the ability to manage several multi-faceted projects simultaneously, and leverages the expertise of his colleagues and suppliers to produce the desired outcome for the project. As a true believer in the benefits of project team cooperation, Brendan uses his efficient communication skills to actively engage all relevant stakeholders. Brendan infuses all parties with the concept that task ownership and timely execution is paramount to the successful delivery of a project.

Adam Croker

Workshop Manager

Following the successful completion of a Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic apprenticeship with Westrac Caterpillar and roles with Wormall Contracting and Allied Equipment, Adam joined Croker Construction in 1994.

As the workshop manager, Adam is responsible for the overall management and operation of the workshop to ensure that all plant and equipment is serviced and maintained to an optimal level

Steve Long

WHSEQ Manager

Steve commenced with Croker Construction in March 2014 having worked as an OSH consultant with Global Constructions Australia.

Steve holds a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Cert IV’s in Frontline Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Workplace Health and Safety & Workplace Training and Assessment, ICAM lead investigator and is a member of the Safety Institute of Australia.

The WHSEQ Manager is responsible for all aspects of WHS, Environmental and Quality Management including ensuring that the requirements of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 are met or exceeded at all times. Along with the aforementioned requirements, the WHSEQ Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all workers compensation and human resource matters.

Shirley Collins

Administration Manager

Shirley commenced with Croker Construction in 1996 as the company receptionist and over 25 continuous years of service, has also taken on other varied duties including general office tasks and assisting the Accounts Manager with payroll, debtors and creditor management and related data entry.
